Biography:
Gamora, as portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is a complex and skilled warrior.
She first appeared in *Guardians of the Galaxy* (2014). Adopted by Thanos after he wiped out half of her species, the Zen-Whoberis, she was raised and trained to be a deadly assassin.
Gamora eventually defected from Thanos's control, seeking to undo his destructive plans. She joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, finding a found family and a sense of purpose fighting alongside them during the Infinity Saga.
Her efforts to keep the Soul Stone out of Thanos's grasp ultimately led to her death on Vormir. A Gamora from an alternate timeline reappeared later in the MCU.
